This weekend marks the Age Group Quarterfinals Qualifier, and it's time to show the world what you're made of. In this week's newsletter, we'll be sharing some last-minute tips and strategies to help you perform at your best and tackle any challenges that come your way. So let's get ready to make history and show the world what Masters Athletes are capable of!
Last Minute Tips for Online Qualifiers
Check your recording gear: Make sure your phone or GoPro camera is charged and ready to go. Test it out beforehand to ensure that it's working properly and that you have a clear view of your entire workout space.
Stay hydrated and fueled: Solid nutrition and hydration are essential for performing your best during a CrossFit competition. Make sure you drink enough of water with electrolytes before and after the workouts. Eat a light meal or snack between events to replenish your reserves and fuel your next effort.
Double-check your gear: Make a list of all the gear you'll need for your weekend, including grips, compression shorts, thumb tape, wristbands, lifters, belt, and anything else you might need. Check that you have everything packed and ready to go, so you don't have to scramble at the last minute.
Know the rules, standards, and requirements for every workout: Before you begin each event, make sure you understand the rules and requirements for each workout, including the movement standards, weight requirements, and any other details. This will ensure that your performance is valid and that you don't receive any penalties or disqualifications.
