THE
LONG GAME

My favorite meal has no vegetables in it. I know how that sounds.

It's called meat salad. Sam Dancer made it for me at Wodapalooza about two years ago, and it's been a staple ever since. I ate it every single night at the CrossFit Games this year.

Six ingredients. Ten minutes. Nothing green. Here's the whole thing:

THE RECIPE — MEAT SALAD

• 1 lb 90/10 grassfed ground beef

• 1 cup cooked rice

• ~1 oz cheddar cheese

• Coconut aminos, to taste

• Honey — local if you can get it (hot honey works too)

• Coarse salt

Sear the beef hard. Put it over the rice, add the cheddar, then finish with coconut aminos, honey, and salt. That's it.

I filmed the full walkthrough — including the family taste test and the macros — on YouTube:
